Do you want your high school sophomore, junior or senior to have a unique experience while they earn cash and college credits?

The Eastern Indiana Regional Workforce Board is partnering with Indiana University East to present a unique business educational opportunity for your high school sophomore, junior or senior.

The B.O.S.S. program will mirror that of the real world. In the real world, as you become entrepreneurial, work ethic and time commitment are two critical skills. The B.O.S.S. program, in mirroring the real world, places a heavy emphasis on your commitment; timeliness, follow through on projects and commitment to be the best you can be.

Among the activities that you will undertake as part of this program will include;

  • keeping journals
  • learning entrepreneurial and business vocabulary,
  • working in teams and
  • writing a business plan.

    The project will start with 54 hours of instruction covering entrepreneurial basics and business plan writing. At the conclusion of the classroom instruction, students will have completed a business plan on the topic of their choice. After all the business plans are complete, the students will participate in local and regional contests.

    This program is an excellent opportunity to determine if entrepreneurship
    might be a career option for YOUR high school student!
