Eastern Indiana was awarded a competitive Strategic Skills Initiative grant by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development
to create new jobs in agri-business, small business and advancing entrepreneurship.
The Strategic Skills Initiative grant was awarded to the Eastern Indiana Regional Workforce Board (RWB). RWB is an Indiana
501 (c)(3) not for profit corporation responsible to oversee workforce activities in Eastern Indiana which includes the
counties of Blackford, Delaware, Fayette, Henry, Jay, Randolph, Rush, Union, and Wayne.
Through the Strategic Skills Initiative, Eastern Indiana
will be able to increase new venture creation in agri-business,
small business, develop high school students as future entrepreneurs
and work with MBA students to launch new business ventures.
